Advantage Healthcare Group is supporting the Operation Christmas Child appeal. This is the fourth successive year that Advantage Healthcare Group has taken part in this initiative that delivers Christmas gifts to underprivileged children.
Run by the Samaritan's Purse charity, OCC is the world's largest children's Christmas project and has been sending gift-filled shoeboxes around the world since 1990, bringing joy into the lives of over 80 million children.
The shoe boxes are divided into six categories that cover both male and female age groups 2-4 years, 5-9 years and 10-14 years. Donations were made by AHG’s central office staff based in Telford. Colleagues volunteered to purchase the gifts as well as donate shoe boxes and wrapping paper.
Sarah Cope, Marketing Manager for AHG, said of the initiative; “We have been involved in Operation Christmas Child for the past 4 years and every year the whole office gets behind the project. These gifts make such a difference to a child’s life and watching the videos on the OCC website make you realise what a worth while project this is. We look forward to continuing our support again next year and for years to come.’
